My wife has this globe garden decoration that hasn't worked for years and I've started fiddling around with it. I took it apart but wasn't super confident of the circuit board so I ordered a new module. I also surmised the rechargeable battery was no longer good so I ordered a replacement. I didn't realize the voltage requirements of the new board until I received it. Much higher than the old one used with its single AA-sized NiCd battery at 1.2 volts.
